Southeast seniors' centre badly needed

To the editor:

Re: "Vancouver wish list for B.C.'s new legislature," May 13.

Thank you Barry Link for remembering and mentioning the seniors' centre so desperately needed for older adults in southeast Vancouver. Your paper is widely read and I'm hoping that your comments will remind the elected candidates of their "promises" and make them aware that they are under scrutiny.

Your choice of issues for "Vancouver's wish list" was well conceived and mirrors what most of us feel. You really have your finger on the pulse of the community.
